Student Conduct

The Office of Campus and Residential Services (OCRS) oversees the conduct process for the entire Marymount community, including resident, commuter, and graduate students.

Marymount University has a Community Conduct Code which exists to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable learning environment for all members of the MU community. Subsequently, the Office of Campus and Residential Services promotes and enforces behavioral standards; administers disciplinary processes; and educates students through disciplinary sanctions, mediation, and other educational interventions. The Office is dedicated to supporting students by administering a student conduct system that is educational, consistent, expeditious, and just. We help students learn by administering a process that teaches responsibility and the impact of behaviors upon one’s self and the community. This process also validates healthy choices and the concept of individual and community respect.

This website contains information explaining how violations of the Community Conduct Code are handled, including information about how to report a suspected violation. You are encouraged to become familiar with this information.

We hope that you find this website informative and that it answers your questions. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
