Portfolio in Motion is Marymount University's premier fashion event for students in the Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising programs.

Students in these nationally recognized programs, unique to the Washington area, develop exceptional skills and knowledge needed for success in the fashion industry. Graduates have gone on to work in top fashion houses, as well as the fashion publication and entertainment industries.

Converging Academics and Student Creativity
Portfolio in Motion
is the culminating academic project for Marymount Fashion students. Every aspect, from the jury-selected student designs and models to the show's production, reflects their academic and creative efforts.

Designer of the Year - Eileen Fisher
Each senior designer receives a portfolio critique from a Designer of the Year, an outstanding fashion industry professional who is honored at the show on Marymount's Arlington campus. This year, Marymount will honor Eileen Fisher. Past award recipients include Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, and Tommy Hilfiger.
