Center for Teaching Excellence

The Center for Teaching Excellence supports creative and effective teaching that facilitates successful student learning. The Center strives to nurture a community of teaching scholars at Marymount by providing services to faculty that help them enhance their teaching, facilitating the scholarship of teaching and learning, recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of Marymount teaching scholars, communicating the importance of teaching and learning to both internal and external audiences, and serving as a catalyst for learning-centered education.

Dr. Bolton has served in various capacities with myriad law enforcement and mental health agencies, such as the Justice Department, FBI, U.S. Secret Service, Virginia State Police, International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the National Mental Health Association.
