THE 2012 ALUMNI AWARDS

Please submit your nominations to recognize those alumni whom you see as truly deserving of award recognition – individuals who have distinguished themselves through service to their profession, community, and alma mater. All are welcome to nominate alumni for the awards below:

Alumni Achievement Award: recognizes a graduate of Marymount University who has demonstrated a distinguished level of achievement in a professional career, community service, or a humanitarian cause.
 
Alumni Appreciation Award: presented to a graduate of Marymount University or a Marymount high school or grade school graduate who has demonstrated outstanding service to the Marymount community.
 
Alumni Club Leadership Award: recognizes a graduate within the club whose service and leadership has increased alumni participation and involvement in the Alumni Association and Marymount.
 
Outstanding Recent Graduate Award: honors a graduate of the past 15 years who has shown loyalty to the University, made a contribution or experienced a major accomplishment in a professional field, or made humanitarian contributions to a community.
 
Alumni Lifetime Excellence Award: recognizes a graduate who has demonstrated a long-time and outstanding level of commitment to a career and/or community and as a result, has made a positive and dramatic impact on their chosen field or the lives of others.
 
The awards nomination period will open in late March, and nominations will be accepted through Friday, August 17, 2012, via mail and online. All candidates’ documentation must be submitted by this date.
 
The awards will be presented at the Alumni Awards Dinner on Saturday, September 29, during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.
